This album is a collection of musical segments to a fictional
movie. You might say it’s my go at making a movie score.
I had one of my favorite movies in mind when I made this
album, but it also contains ideas inspired from other things.

I've made this album as a getaway from the more regular pop
music I usually do. It's always great fun to explore a more
relaxed approach to meter, rhyme and constraints.
Many of the songs here are what you might call incidental
music, with no particular destination in terms of momentum
nor length. They’re mostly about creating moods to fill a
fictual visual need.
I also wanted the album to have very little in terms of drums.

The album has been recorded with a mix of old and modern gear throughout. Even analog tape has been used to capture sounds.
The synths, samplers and sequencers used are only from the actual 80s for the most authentic sound as possible.

The album is already released on cassette as well. I wanted to release this album on cassette as I find that the perfect delivery device for a lo-fi nostalgia kicker. Much more so than vinyl.
The cassette release has every song mixed in mono for that early 80s VHS lo-fi experience. Just like those B-movies with a somewhat noisy soundtrack.

I dedicate this album to my parents.
