A song based on real life experiences, like many of my songs. Dramatized for effect of course.
Some interesting compositional decisions is the fact that I set out to have the last chord of the verse to also begin the choruses, and the last chord of the choruses should also start the verses.
Setting some parameters and limitations before I start a composition forces me to think outside my usual box so this is a great way of breaking though stale habits. That starts with the composition itself.
All the sounds in the song (except my voice) comes from using one VST plugin only, which for me is very unusual, but it was part of a challenge from Nektar, the company that makes the VST plugin synth called Bolt.
